switched Nd:YAG laser(Revlite laser treatment), which is
unquestionably the current treatment of choice for nevi of Ota with
high success rates and minimal adverse effects. It works by
destroying the dermal melanocytes selectively without causing harm to
the surrounding tissue.
Revlite
laser is a quick procedure (10-15 minutes) with only a mild pain. No
scabs, hyperpigmentation and down time after the procedure. With a
minimum of 6 treatments, skin pigmentation is reduced dramatically
with a brightened skin tone.
